January 7, 2022: Port Barre, LA 70577 The Port Barre Red Devils (Port Barre, LA) basketball knocked off the visiting Mamou Demons (Mamou, LA), 43-32 in Friday's non-league test.
The Red Devils (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Notre Dame (Crowley, LA). The Pioneers go into the 2A District 6 test with a 0-0 record.
The Demons now own a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to St. Edmund for a non-league test on Monday, January 10. Mamou will encounter a Fighting Blue Jays squad coming off a 58-34 non-league loss to North Vermilion (Maurice, LA). The Fighting Blue Jays record now stands at 2-8.
