North Carolina High School Basketball - Pinecrest crushes Lee County
January 4, 2022: Southern Pines, NC 28387 Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC), 70-18 in a league bout.
With the win, Pinecrest upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Patriots host Southern Lee (Sanford, NC) to clash with the Cavaliers in a bout on Friday, January 7. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Southern Lee lost 69-59 in their recent league bout against Richmond (Rockingham, NC)
Next up, the Yellow Jackets clash with the Richmond Raiders (Rockingham, NC) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 11. Lee County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
