California High School Basketball - Army-Navy ripped by Mt. Carmel
January 7, 2023: San Diego, CA 92129 The Mt. Carmel Sundevils basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Army-Navy Warriors to 48 in the Sundevils non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Sundevils now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sage Creek for a Avocado contest on Wednesday, January 11. Mt. Carmel will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 55-53 non-league win over Calexico (Calexico, CA). The Bobcats record now stands at 7-6.
The Warriors (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Santa Fe Christian (Solana Beach, CA). The Eagles enter the Coastal contest with a 13-3 record. In their last contest, Santa Fe Christian triumphed over Foothills Christian (El Cajon, CA), 87-49, in a league contest.
