January 7, 2023: Bedford, IN 47421 Bedford North Lawrence Stars (Bedford, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting South Knox Spartans (Vincennes, IN), 47-40 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Bedford North Lawrence upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Stars host Mitchell (Mitchell, IN) to clash with the Bluejackets in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The Bluejackets enter the game with a record of 3-11. Mitchell lost 60-56 in their recent non-league game against South Central (Elizabeth, IN)
With the defeat, South Knox moves to 7-4 on the year. The Spartans host Bloomfield (Bloomfield, IN) to face the Cardinals in a non-league game on Saturday, January 14. The Cardinals enter the game with a record of 10-2.
