In Saturday's non-league outing, the Canisius Crusaders (Buffalo, NY) basketball squad beat the host Cathedral Prep Ramblers (Erie, PA), by a count of 55-40.

The Crusaders (4-4) will now prepare for their outing against St. Francis (Hamburg, NY). The Red Raiders go into the Monsignor Martin outing with a 4-4 record.

The Ramblers now hold a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Fort LeBoeuf for a District 10 Region 5 outing on Tuesday, January 10. Cathedral Prep will clash with a Bison squad coming off a 67-45 league loss to Harbor Creek (Harborcreek, PA). The Bison record now stands at 1-6.
