January 7, 2023: Cape Girardeau, MO 63703 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Central Tigers (Cape Girardeau, MO) and the visiting Jennings Warriors (Jennings, MO), saw Central's basketball squad wallop Jennings by a tally of 84-54.
With the victory, Central improves its record to 14-0 on the campaign. The Tigers host Notre Dame (Cape Girardeau, MO) to confront the Bulldogs in a Southeast Missouri challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 3-7. Notre Dame lost 65-52 in their recent non-league challenge against New Madrid County Central (New Madrid, MO)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Marquette Mustangs (Chesterfield, MO) in a Suburban - Yellow challenge, on Friday, January 13. Jennings will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
