January 7, 2023: Canton, GA 30114 The Cherokee Warriors (Canton, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Creekview Grizzlies (Canton, GA), 82-56 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Warriors (12-2) will now prepare for their test against Walton (Marietta, GA). The Raiders go into the AAAAAAA Region 5 test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, Walton walloped Lassiter (Marietta, GA), 60-49, in a non-league test.
The Grizzlies now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they host Rome for a AAAAAA Region 6 test on Tuesday, January 10. Creekview will encounter a Wolves squad coming off a 64-59 non-league loss to Calhoun (Calhoun, GA). The Wolves record now stands at 8-7.
