Iowa High School Basketball - Lynnville-Sully overwhelms Colo-NESCO
January 7, 2023: Colo, IA 50056 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lynnville-Sully Hawks (Sully, IA) and the host Colo-NESCO Royals (Colo, IA), saw Lynnville-Sully's basketball squad wallop Colo-NESCO by a tally of 63-32.
With the victory, Lynnville-Sully improves its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Tri-County (Thornburg, IA) to confront the Trojans in a South Iowa Cedar challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 2-9. Tri-County lost 70-44 in their recent league challenge against B-G-M (Brooklyn, IA)
Next up, the Royals confront the Baxter (Baxter, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Colo-NESCO will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The come into the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 81-67 non-league loss to Dunkerton (Dunkerton, IA).
