Washington High School Basketball - Columbia thwarts Curlew
January 7, 2023: Hunters, WA 99137 The Columbia Lions (Hunters, WA) basketball knocked off the visiting Curlew Cougars (Curlew, WA), 49-30 in Saturday's league test.
The Lions (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Cusick (Cusick, WA). The Panthers go into the 1B Northeast test with a 7-1 record. In their last test, Cusick notched a victory over Republic (Republic, WA), 64-53, in a league test.
The Cougars now own a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Republic for a 1B Northeast test on Tuesday, January 10. Curlew will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 64-53 league loss to Cusick (Cusick, WA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-9.
