Massachusetts High School Basketball - Dartmouth holds off New Bedford
January 7, 2023: South Dartmouth, MA 02748 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Dartmouth Indians (South Dartmouth, MA) and the visiting New Bedford Whalers (New Bedford, MA), saw Dartmouth's basketball squad hold off New Bedford by a tally of 67-62.
With the victory, Dartmouth improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Indians host Durfee (Fall River, MA) to confront the Hilltoppers in a South East challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Hilltoppers come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Durfee lost 57-52 in their recent league challenge against Brockton (Brockton, MA)
Next up, the Whalers confront the O'Bryant Tigers (Roxbury, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 11. New Bedford will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 53-50 non-league win over Greater Lowell Tech (Tyngsborough, MA).
