Foresthill Wildfires (Foresthill, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Delta Saints (Clarksburg, CA), 58-54 in a league bout.

With the victory, Foresthill upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Wildfires travel to Woodland Christian (Woodland, CA) to play the Cardinals in a Central Valley California League bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 12-5. Woodland Christian won 57-40 in their recent league bout against Sacramento Waldorf (Fair Oaks, CA)

Next up, the Saints play the Sacramento Waldorf Waves (Fair Oaks, CA) in a Central Valley California League bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Delta will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record.
