North Carolina High School Basketball - East Forsyth over East Surry
January 7, 2023: Kernersville, NC 27284 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the East Forsyth Eagles (Kernersville, NC) and the visiting East Surry Cardinals (Pilot Mountain, NC), saw East Forsyth's basketball squad overcome East Surry by a tally of 74-64.
With the victory, East Forsyth improves its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Glenn (Kernersville, NC) to confront the Bobcats in a 4A Conference 56 challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 8-7. Glenn lost 66-43 in their recent league challenge against Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC)
Next up, the Cardinals confront the North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC) in a 2A Conference 37 challenge, on Monday, January 9. East Surry will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a 13-1 record after their 82-70 league win over West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC).
