In Saturday's non-league outing, the Frontier Falcons (Chalmers, IN) basketball team nudged the host Tri-Township Tigers (LaCrosse, IN), by a final score of 51-45.

In their next game, the Falcons meet the North White Vikings (Monon, IN) in a Midwest match, on Friday, January 13. Frontier will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 3-7 record after their 40-22 league win over South Newton (Kentland, IN).

With the defeat, Tri-Township moves to 1-10 on the year. The Tigers host Morgan Township (Valparaiso, IN) to meet the Cherokees in a Porter County match on Friday, January 13. The Cherokees enter the match with a record of 8-3.
