Illinois High School Basketball - Hinsdale South overwhelmed by New Trier
January 7, 2023: Winnetka, IL 60093 The Hinsdale South Hornets basketball team (Darien, IL), was overwhelmed 80-48 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host New Trier Trevians (Winnetka, IL)
The Trevians now possess a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maine South for a Central Suburban - South battle on Friday, January 13. New Trier will battle a Hawks team coming off a 45-43 league loss to Evanston (Evanston, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 6-9.
The Hornets (6-11) will now prepare for their battle against Leyden (Franklin Park, IL). The Eagles come into the West Suburban - Gold battle with a 9-6 record. In their last battle, Leyden trounced Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL), 70-67, in a league battle.
