Ohio High School Basketball - Horizon Science Academy overwhelmed by St. John
January 7, 2023: Ashtabula, OH 44004 The St. John Fighting Herald basketball team scored 85 points and restricted the visiting Horizon Science Academy Dragons to 44 in the Fighting Herald non-league victory on Saturday.
The Fighting Herald now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lordstown for a Northeastern contest on Tuesday, January 10. St. John will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 60-36 non-league loss to McKinley (Sebring, OH). The Red Devils record now stands at 1-9.
The Dragons (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Medina Christian Academy (Medina, OH). The Knights come into the Lake Effect contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Medina Christian Academy was routed by Cornerstone Christian (Willoughby, OH), 100-36, in a non-league contest.
