Illinois High School Basketball - Pontiac crushes Joliet Catholic
January 7, 2023: Pontiac, IL 61764 Pontiac Indians (Pontiac, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers (Joliet, IL), 73-48 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Pontiac upgrades its record to 11-5 on the season. The Indians host Morris (Morris, IL) to clash with the Redskins in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Redskins go into the bout with a record of 4-12. Morris lost 56-52 in their recent non-league bout against Coal City (Coal City, IL)
Next up, the Hilltoppers clash with the Lisle Lions (Lisle, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Joliet Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 7-9 record after their 47-46 league loss to Wilmington (Wilmington, IL).
