Lincoln County Lions (Eureka, MT) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Thompson Falls Blue Hawks (Thompson Falls, MT), 43-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Lincoln County upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Lions travel to Libby (Libby, MT) to play the Loggers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Loggers go into the bout with a record of 4-6. Libby lost 83-66 in their recent league bout against Browning (Browning, MT)

Next up, the Blue Hawks play the St. Ignatius Bulldogs (St. Ignatius, MT) in a B District 7 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Thompson Falls will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 67-61 non-league loss to Ronan (Ronan, MT).
