The Sandusky Blue Streaks basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Midview Middies to 57 in the Blue Streaks non-league victory on Saturday.

The Blue Streaks now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bellevue for a Sandusky Bay - Lake contest on Tuesday, January 10. Sandusky will battle a Redmen team coming off a 54-51 league win over Columbian (Tiffin, OH). The Redmen record now stands at 8-2.

The Middies (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Avon (Avon, OH). The Eagles come into the Southwestern contest with a 8-1 record. In their last contest, Avon edged Berea-Midpark (Berea, OH), 49-42, in a league contest.
