The North Valleys Panthers basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting South Tahoe Vikings to 61 in the Panthers league victory on Saturday.

The Panthers now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Truckee for a 3A Northern - West contest on Wednesday, January 11. North Valleys will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 33-30 league win over Hug (Reno, NV). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-6.

The Vikings (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Sage Ridge (Reno, NV). The Scorpions come into the non-league contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, Sage Ridge edged Coral Academy of Science - Reno (Reno, NV), 77-23, in a non-league contest.
