New Jersey High School Basketball - Saddle River Day knocked off by Notre Dame
January 7, 2023: Saddle River, NJ 07458 The Notre Dame Green Knights basketball team scored 74 points and held the host Saddle River Day Rebels to 54 in the Green Knights non-league victory on Saturday.
With the victory, Notre Dame upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Green Knights travel to Hillhouse (New Haven, CT) to play the Academics in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Academics come into the bout with a record of 5-1. Hillhouse won 106-66 in their recent non-league bout against East Haven (East Haven, CT)
Next up, the Rebels play the St. Mary Gaels (Rutherford, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 9. Saddle River Day will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Gaels come into the bout with a 8-0 record after their 87-62 league win over Becton (East Rutherford, NJ).
