January 7, 2023: Teutopolis, IL 62467 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Teutopolis Wooden Shoes (Teutopolis, IL) and the visiting Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals (Warrensburg, IL), saw Teutopolis's basketball squad wallop Warrensburg-Latham by a tally of 68-31.
With the victory, Teutopolis improves its record to 14-2 on the campaign. The Wooden Shoes travel to St. Joseph-Ogden (St. Joseph, IL) to confront the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 12-2. St. Joseph-Ogden won 59-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Nashville (Nashville, IL)
Next up, the Cardinals confront the Central A & M Raiders (Moweaqua, IL) in a Central Illinois challenge, on Friday, January 13. Warrensburg-Latham will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 2-11 record after their 60-33 non-league loss to Altamont (Altamont, IL).
