Georgia High School Basketball - Atkinson County succumbs to McIntosh County Academy
January 7, 2023: Pearson, GA 31642 The McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers topped the host Atkinson County Rebels basketball team by a final score of 71-59 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Buccaneers face the Jenkins County War Eagles (Millen, GA) in a A D2 Region 3 game, on Tuesday, January 10. McIntosh County Academy will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The War Eagles enter the game with a 11-2 record after their 47-30 non-league win over Metter (Metter, GA).
