Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Baldwin overwhelmed by Oakland Catholic
January 7, 2023: Pittsburgh, PA 15213 The Oakland Catholic basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Baldwin Highlanders to 40 in the non-league victory on Saturday.
The now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Penn-Trafford for a WPIAL 5A 3 contest on Tuesday, January 10. Oakland Catholic will battle a Warriors team coming off a 68-48 league win over Thomas Jefferson (Jefferson Hills, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 9-1.
The Highlanders (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Canon-McMillan (Canonsburg, PA). The Big Macs come into the WPIAL 6A 2 contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Canon-McMillan was routed by Bethel Park (Bethel Park, PA), 73-51, in a league contest.
