Louisiana High School Basketball - Hicks succumbs to Barbe
January 7, 2023: Lake Charles, LA 70605 The Barbe Buccaneers topped the visiting Hicks Pirates basketball team by a final score of 68-54 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Buccaneers face the Acadiana Rams (Lafayette, LA) in a 5A District 3 game, on Friday, January 13. Barbe will attempt to move on its 14-2 season record.
With the defeat, Hicks moves to 13-6 on the year. The Pirates travel to Oak Hill (Hineston, LA) to face the Rams in a B District 4 game on Tuesday, January 10. The Rams enter the game with a record of 22-7. Oak Hill won 68-54 in their recent non-league game against East Beauregard (DeRidder, LA)
