Washington High School Basketball - WF West thwarts Capital
January 7, 2023: Olympia, WA 98502 The WF West Bearcats (Chehalis, WA) basketball knocked off the host Capital Cougars (Olympia, WA), 55-36 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bearcats (10-2) will now prepare for their outing against Tumwater (Tumwater, WA). The Thunderbirds go into the 2A Evergreen outing with a 9-3 record. In their last outing, Tumwater defeated Black Hills (Tumwater, WA), 42-21, in a league outing.
The Cougars now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Central Kitsap for a 3A South Sound outing on Wednesday, January 11. Capital will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 45-26 league win over Yelm (Yelm, WA). The Cougars record now stands at 3-5.
