Georgia High School Basketball - Marist crushes Clarke Central
January 7, 2023: Atlanta, GA 30319 Marist War Eagles (Atlanta, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Clarke Central Gladiators (Athens, GA), 67-19 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Marist upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The War Eagles host St. Pius X Catholic (Atlanta, GA) to clash with the Golden Lions in a AAAAAA Region 4 bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Golden Lions go into the bout with a record of 6-7. St. Pius X Catholic won 55-41 in their recent league bout against Lakeside (Atlanta, GA)
Next up, the Gladiators clash with the Jefferson Dragons (Jefferson, GA) in a AAAAA Region 8 bout, on Friday, January 13. Clarke Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record.
