South Dakota High School Basketball - Wolsey-Wessington crushes Estelline/Hendricks
January 7, 2023: Estelline, SD Wolsey-Wessington Warbirds (Wolsey, SD) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Estelline/Hendricks (Estelline, SD), 53-23 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Wolsey-Wessington upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Warbirds travel to Sunshine Bible Academy (Miller, SD) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 0-5.
Next up, the clash with the Great Plains Lutheran Panthers (Watertown, SD) in a A Region 2 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Estelline/Hendricks will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 61-59 non-league loss to Waubay/Summit (Waubay, SD).
