January 7, 2023: Rehoboth, NM 87322 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy Eagle (Albuquerque, NM) and the host Rehoboth Christian Lynx (Rehoboth, NM), saw Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy's basketball squad hold off Rehoboth Christian by a tally of 37-33.
With the victory, Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Eagle host Coronado (Gallina, NM) to confront the Leopards in a A District 7 challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Leopards come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Coronado lost 38-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Northwest (Shiprock, NM)
Next up, the Lynx confront the Melrose Buffaloes (Melrose, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 12. Rehoboth Christian will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record.
