Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Tunkhannock overwhelms Forest City
January 7, 2023: Tunkhannock, PA 18657 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Tunkhannock Tigers (Tunkhannock, PA) and the visiting Forest City Foresters (Forest City, PA), saw Tunkhannock's basketball squad wallop Forest City by a tally of 57-21.
With the victory, Tunkhannock improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Dallas (Dallas, PA) to play the Mountaineers in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 9. The Mountaineers come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Dallas won 40-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Holy Redeemer (Wilkes-Barre, PA)
Next up, the Foresters play the Mountain View Eagles (Kingsley, PA) in a Lackawanna 4 challenge, on Monday, January 9. Forest City will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 41-32 league win over Blue Ridge (New Milford, PA).
