Ohio High School Basketball - Marlington trounces Tuscarawas Valley
January 7, 2023: Alliance, OH 44601 The Marlington Dukes (Alliance, OH) basketball crushed the visiting Tuscarawas Valley Trojans (Zoarville, OH), 51-28 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Dukes (9-1) will now prepare for their test against West Branch (Beloit, OH). The Warriors go into the Eastern Buckeye test with a 4-8 record. In their last test, West Branch was trounced by Boardman (Youngstown, OH), 55-54, in a non-league test.
The Trojans now own a 9-2 record. They play next when they host Sandy Valley for a Inter-Valley test on Wednesday, January 11. Tuscarawas Valley will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 42-26 league loss to Ridgewood (West Lafayette, OH). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-6.
