January 7, 2023: Katy, TX 77494 West Brook Bruins (Beaumont, TX) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Tompkins Falcons (Katy, TX), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bruins confront the Hardin-Jefferson Hawks (Sour Lake, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. West Brook will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Hawks enter the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Brazosport (Freeport, TX).
The Falcons now possess a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Katy for a 6A Region 3 District 19 challenge on Tuesday, January 10. Tompkins will battle a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Tomball (Tomball, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 1-1.
