South Carolina High School Basketball - Military Magnet Academy nudges Porter-Gaud
January 7, 2023: North Charleston, SC 29405 Military Magnet Academy Eagles (North Charleston, SC) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Porter-Gaud Cyclones (Charleston, SC), 32-30 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Military Magnet Academy upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Eagles host Burke (Charleston, SC) to clash with the Bulldogs in a bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Burke lost 43-27 in their recent non-league bout against North Charleston (North Charleston, SC)
Next up, the Cyclones clash with the Woodland Wolverines (Dorchester, SC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Porter-Gaud will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 57-23 non-league loss to Oceanside Collegiate Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC).
