In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Desert Hot Springs Golden Eagles basketball team scored a close 55-54 triumph over the Banning Broncos.

The Golden Eagles (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Cathedral City (Cathedral City, CA). The Lions go into the Sun Valley contest with a 3-13 record. In their last contest, Cathedral City nipped Desert Mirage (Thermal, CA), 42-29, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Broncos battle the Desert Mirage RAMS (Thermal, CA) in a Sun Valley contest, on Thursday, January 9. Banning will attempt to better on its 9-6 season record. The RAMS go into the contest with a 5-9 record after their 42-29 league loss to Cathedral City (Cathedral City, CA).
