Kentucky High School Basketball - Barren County trounced by Warren Central
January 7, 2025: Glasgow, KY 42141 Warren Central Dragons (Bowling Green, KY) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Barren County Trojans (Glasgow, KY), 72-49 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Warren Central advances its record to 11-1 on the year. The Dragons host Greenwood (Bowling Green, KY) to meet the Gators in a District 14 match on Thursday, January 9. The Gators enter the match with a record of 9-2. Greenwood lost 75-69 in their recent non-league match against Calloway County (Murray, KY)
The Trojans now own a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glasgow for a District 15 match on Thursday, January 9. Barren County will meet a Scotties squad coming off a 89-65 non-league loss to Adair County (Columbia, KY). The Scotties record now stands at 3-6.
