January 7, 2025: Carl Junction, MO 64834 The Carl Junction Bulldogs (Carl Junction, MO) basketball edged the visiting Pittsburg Dragons (Pittsburg, KS), 55-49 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Life Prep for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 9. Carl Junction will play a Fire team coming off a 45-41 non-league win over The New School (Fayetteville, AR). The Fire record now stands at 8-5.
With the loss, Pittsburg falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Dragons host Chanute (Chanute, KS) to play the Blue Comets in a Southeast Kansas bout on Friday, January 10. The Blue Comets go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Chanute won 69-48 in their recent league bout against Labette County (Altamont, KS)
