Utah High School Basketball - Corner Canyon nudges Lone Peak

January 7, 2025: Draper, UT 84020

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Corner Canyon Chargers (Draper, UT) and the visiting Lone Peak Knights (Highland, UT), observed Corner Canyon's basketball team edge Lone Peak by a score of 65-62.

The Chargers (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Copper Hills (West Jordan, UT). The Grizzlies come into the 6A Region 2 challenge with a 9-4 record. In their last challenge, Copper Hills edged Syracuse (Syracuse, UT), 79-69, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights encounter the Pleasant Grove Vikings (Pleasant Grove, UT) in a 6A Region 3 challenge, on Friday, January 10. Lone Peak will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 74-51 non-league loss to Timpview (Provo, UT).
