January 7, 2025: Columbus, OH 43224 Tree of Life Christian Trojans (Columbus, OH) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Elgin Comets (Marion, OH), 60-44 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Tree of Life Christian advances its record to 7-1 on the year. The Trojans host Delaware Christian (Delaware, OH) to meet the Eagles in a Mid-Ohio - Christian match on Saturday, January 11. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 6-4. Delaware Christian lost 46-43 in their recent non-league match against Fisher Catholic (Lancaster, OH)
The Comets now own a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ridgemont for a Northwest Central match on Friday, January 10. Elgin will meet a Golden Gophers squad coming off a 43-40 non-league win over Riverdale (Mt. Blanchard, OH). The Golden Gophers record now stands at 9-2.
