North Carolina High School Basketball - Fairmont triumphant over Red Springs

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Fairmont Golden Tornadoes (Fairmont, NC) and the visiting Red Springs Red Devils (Red Springs, NC), observed Fairmont's basketball team overwhelm Red Springs by a score of 68-32.

The Golden Tornadoes (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Latta (Latta, SC). The Vikings come into the non-league challenge with a 3-9 record. In their last challenge, Latta was routed by Cathedral Academy (North Charleston, SC), 70-34, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Red Devils encounter the St. Pauls Bulldogs (St. Pauls, NC) in a 2A Southeastern challenge, on Thursday, January 9. Red Springs will attempt to improve on its 0-12 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 68-19 league loss to West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC).
