Oklahoma High School Basketball - Garber thwarts Waukomis
January 7, 2025: Garber, OK 73738 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Garber Wolverines (Garber, OK) and the visiting Waukomis Chiefs (Waukomis, OK), observed Garber's basketball team knock off Waukomis by a score of 70-58.
The Wolverines (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Seiling (Seiling, OK). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Seiling dropped by Fairview (Fairview, OK), 76-29, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Chiefs battle the Pioneer-Pleasant Vale Mustangs (Waukomis, OK) in a Skeltur challenge, on Thursday, January 9. Waukomis will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 44-12 non-league win over Taloga (Taloga, OK).
