Connecticut High School Basketball - Hand fells Hamden
January 7, 2025: Madison, CT 06443 The Hand Tigers basketball team scored 71 points and limited the visiting Hamden Green Dragons to 51 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Amity Regional for a non-league game on Friday, January 10. Hand will confront a Spartans team coming off a 91-48 non-league loss to Notre Dame (West Haven, CT). The Spartans record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Hamden falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Green dragons travel to Branford (Branford, CT) to confront the Hornets in a Southern Connecticut - Hammonasset game on Thursday, January 9. The Hornets go into the game with a record of 5-3. Branford won 70-67 in their recent non-league game against Cheshire (Cheshire, CT)
