The Hamilton Braves basketball squad (Hamilton City, CA), was nudged 65-58 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Trinity Wolves (Weaverville, CA)

With the victory, Trinity advances its record to 10-6 on the year. The Wolves host Etna (Etna, CA) to meet the Lions in a Shasta Cascade battle on Tuesday, January 14. The Lions enter the battle with a record of 5-5. Etna won 50-47 in their recent non-league battle against Plumas Charter (Quincy, CA)

The Braves now own a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Redding Christian for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 9. Hamilton will meet a Lions squad coming off a 66-29 non-league win over Fall River (McArthur, CA). The Lions record now stands at 13-2.
