In Tuesday's league contest, the host Issaquah Eagles basketball team scored a close 52-47 triumph over the Hazen Highlanders.

The Eagles (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Si (Snoqualmie, WA). The Wildcats go into the 4A KingCo contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Mount Si nipped Woodinville (Woodinville, WA), 62-60, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Highlanders battle the Renton Red Hawks (Renton, WA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 8. Hazen will attempt to better on its 2-11 season record. The Red Hawks go into the contest with a 3-9 record after their 44-41 non-league win over Skyline (Sammamish, WA).
