Michigan High School Basketball - Huron thwarts Roosevelt
January 7, 2025: New Boston, MI 48164 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Huron Chiefs (New Boston, MI) and the visiting Roosevelt Bears (Wyandotte, MI), observed Huron's basketball team knock off Roosevelt by a score of 62-45.
The Chiefs (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Riverview (Riverview, MI). The Pirates come into the Huron challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Riverview prevailed over Anderson (Southgate, MI), 55-53, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bears encounter the Woodhaven Warriors (Brownstown, MI) in a Downriver challenge, on Friday, January 10. Roosevelt will attempt to improve on its 0-9 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 57-47 non-league loss to Skyline (Ann Arbor, MI).
