January 7, 2025: Peachtree City, GA 30269

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Northgate Vikings (Newnan, GA) and the host McIntosh Chiefs (Peachtree City, GA), observed Northgate's basketball team edge McIntosh by a score of 71-64.

The Vikings (8-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Dutchtown (Hampton, GA). The Bulldogs come into the AAAAA Region 3 challenge with a 13-2 record. In their last challenge, Dutchtown edged Langston Hughes (Fairburn, GA), 66-64, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Chiefs encounter the Langston Hughes Panthers (Fairburn, GA) in a AAAAA Region 3 challenge, on Friday, January 10. McIntosh will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 66-64 league loss to Dutchtown (Hampton, GA).
