January 7, 2025: Lindale, GA 30147 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) and the host Pepperell Dragons (Lindale, GA), observed Model's basketball team overwhelm Pepperell by a margin of 78-31.
The Blue Devils (10-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Sonoraville (Calhoun, GA). The Phoenix come into the non-league challenge with a 6-10 record. In their last challenge, Sonoraville trounced Ringgold (Ringgold, GA), 51-43, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Dragons battle the Heard County Braves (Franklin, GA) in a A D1 Region 6 challenge, on Thursday, January 9. Pepperell will attempt to better on its 1-15 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 67-37 league loss to Temple (Temple, GA).
