In Tuesday's league test, the New Canaan Rams (New Canaan, CT) basketball squad defeated the visiting Norwalk Bears (Norwalk, CT), by a final score of 40-30.

Next, the Rams clash with the Bassick Lions (Bridgeport, CT) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, January 8. New Canaan will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.

The Bears (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Staples (Westport, CT). The Wreckers come into the Fairfield County test with a 6-0 record. In their last test, Staples overcame McMahon (Norwalk, CT), 74-50, in a league test.
