January 7, 2025: Sutherlin, OR 97479 In Tuesday's non-league test, the Sutherlin Bulldogs (Sutherlin, OR) basketball squad knocked off the visiting North Valley Knights (Grants Pass, OR), by a score of 51-37.
Next, the Bulldogs encounter the Rogue River Chieftains (Rogue River, OR) in a 3A Southern Oregon test, on Friday, January 10. Sutherlin will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Chieftains come into the test with a 1-11 record after their 65-57 non-league loss to Riddle (Riddle, OR).
The Knights (2-10) will now prepare for their test against South Umpqua (Myrtle Creek, OR). The Lancers come into the 3A Far West test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, South Umpqua was knocked off by St. Mary's (Medford, OR), 61-55, in a non-league test.
