In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Simeon Wolverines basketball team scored a big 71-48 triumph over the Taft Eagles.

The Wolverines (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Lindblom (Chicago, IL). The Eagles go into the Chicago Public - Red South contest with a 6-10 record. In their last contest, Lindblom smashed Curie (Chicago, IL), 53-52, in a league contest.
