January 7, 2025: Hammonton, NJ 08037 The St. Joseph Wildcats (Hammonton, NJ) basketball edged the visiting Vineland Fighting Clan (Vineland, NJ), 54-50 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Wildcats (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Augustine Prep (Richland, NJ). The Hermits come into the Cape/Atlantic - American challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, St. Augustine Prep edged Mainland Regional (Linwood, NJ), 56-51, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Fighting Clan encounter the Pleasantville Greyhounds (Pleasantville, NJ) in a Cape/Atlantic - United challenge, on Thursday, January 9. Vineland will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 65-40 non-league loss to Cherry Hill East (Cherry Hill, NJ).
