The St. Mary's Rams (Taylor, TX) basketball toppled the visiting Sterling Classical Soldiers (Leander, TX), 33-23 in Tuesday's league contest.

The Rams (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Providence Prep (Belton, TX). The Rams go into the TCAF District 4 contest with a 9-2 record. In their last contest, Providence Prep topped Central Texas Christian (Temple, TX), 71-58, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Soldiers confront the Grace Academy (Georgetown, TX) in a TCAF District 4 contest, on Friday, January 10. Sterling Classical will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The go into the contest with a 10-4 record after their 57-29 league win over Methodist Children's Home (Waco, TX).
